My love for design and fashion originated at the ArtEZ art academy, where I graduated as a shoe designer. After my studies, I established my own label and subsequently gained years of experience as a designer and creative director at brands such as Shabbies Amsterdam, Fred de la Bretoniere, and Floris van Bommel Woman. Yet, the desire to create from my own vision always remained.

With my label LILLIAN SANDERSON, I design luxury fashion accessories where craftsmanship and innovation come together. In collaboration with small-scale artisan partners and refined techniques, modern, layered, and versatile designs emerge.

The scarves form the heart of the collection: light, layered, and refined. Each design consists of a double layer of subtly transparent fabrics, silk, viscose, or blends, connected in a special way. Visible seams function as graphic lines, adding depth, color, and movement. The double-layer construction creates an interplay of color and pattern, where both sides are visible and in balance.

Each scarf is digitally printed and finished by hand. The patterns are created using a modern folding technique, ensuring that no two designs are the same. Timelessly modern, with an artistic signature and meticulously detailed.

 

Sustainability is a natural starting point. I work with high-quality materials, produce in limited editions, and consciously choose local production, a method that aligns seamlessly with who I am.
